I was ORIGINALLY going to do this for We Repurpose Wednesday, but I ended up fielding sick kiddos and just didn't have the energy to go looking very far to find things to do with pallets. LUCKILY it seems like the kids are feeling a bit better today (and dad's home and finally fielded the kids about 1/2 of the way through the day, which helps too), so I figured I'd finish this post up while I had the chance.
What inspired this post was looking at some old pictures my sister-in-law had e-mailed me about her deck that she'd made from pallets. It was a pretty easy project, from what I understand, and it turned out looking really good! So, I decided to see what other things you could make from pallets. And holy COW man you can build pretty much anything from pallets. I tried to include the ones that I found with tutorials, but there were some that were just worth mentioning (some of the hall tables, dressers, etc were just beautiful, but they didn't show you how to make them...it was almost cruel. I ended up linking to the ones that I figured people could do by looking at the picture if nothing else ;). So, here's a few ideas to fuel your creative fires tonight...

And there are TONS of other pallet projects out there to choose from. Pallet chairs, decks, planters...you name it. Very impressive stuff in some cases.
So, remember. The next time your kids want to go and grab a bunch of pallets for some bon fire...maybe you want to find them some other wood to use for the bonfire and grab those pallets for yourself ;).
Enjoy!
